1. How we use information
We use information to operate the reference library, authenticate accounts, show community content, respond to feedback, correct data, moderate posts, prevent abuse, diagnose errors, and keep the service reliable.
2. Cookies and local storage
Signed-in sessions use the `ua_hub_session` cookie. Local storage is used for small interface preferences and local-only drafts. You can clear UA Hub local storage from Data Disclosure or from your browser settings.
Optional analytics: Google Analytics 4 is used only for optional measurement. UA Hub loads the Google tag only after you select "Accept analytics" in the Privacy choices control. Selecting "Reject optional" prevents that tag from loading. You can change or withdraw this choice at any time using the "Privacy choices" link in the footer.
Google AdSense advertising cookies and identifiers: When advertising is enabled, Google AdSense and its advertising partners may use cookies, web beacons or pixels, IP addresses, device and browser information, and similar identifiers to deliver ads, personalize ads where legally permitted, measure performance, limit frequency, and prevent fraud or abuse. Google may process this information under its own policies. You can manage personalized advertising at Google Ads Settings and read the Google Privacy Policy.
Consent management: For visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, Google AdSense Privacy & Messaging uses a Google-certified consent management platform to present consent, reject, and manage choices for advertising and related measurement. The site's Privacy choices control manages optional UA Hub analytics and does not replace the Google advertising consent message. Google may use the resulting consent signals through Consent Mode where applicable.
3. Sharing and disclosure
Community posts are shared inside the product. Feedback may be delivered through the configured email provider. Hosting, security, advertising, analytics, and diagnostics providers may process request metadata when their services are enabled. UA Hub does not directly sell feedback submissions or account credentials.
4. Retention
Account, session, feedback, and community records remain until deleted, replaced, moderated, or reset by the site operator. Local storage remains on your device until you clear it or the browser removes it.
5. Security
Passwords and recovery codes are stored as hashes rather than plain-text permanent records. Session tokens are stored as hashed values server-side. No website can guarantee perfect security, so avoid sending passwords, recovery codes, payment details, or sensitive secrets through community posts or feedback.
6. Your choices
You can browse most reference pages without an account, manage signed-in sessions in Mine, clear local data in the Data Disclosure area, accept or reject optional analytics and reopen the Privacy choices control, manage Google advertising choices in the Google CMP or Google Ads Settings, and send correction, deletion, or privacy questions through Feedback.
7. Children
UA Hub is not designed for children and does not intentionally request child-specific profile information.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the product changes. The date at the top of this page shows when the current version was last updated.
9. Regional privacy rights: GDPR and CCPA/CPRA
To the extent the EU or UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR or UK GDPR) applies, you may request access to, correction of, deletion of, or restriction of processing of your personal data; object to processing; request data portability; and withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. Applicable legal bases may include providing the service, legitimate interests in security and moderation, legal obligations, and consent where required for optional advertising or analytics. For EEA, UK, and Swiss visitors, the Google-certified CMP presents the advertising choices required by Google policy, while the UA Hub Privacy choices control records your optional analytics choice. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), may give you the right to know or access the personal information we collect, correct inaccurate information, request deletion subject to exceptions, opt out of sale or sharing, limit certain uses of sensitive personal information, and receive equal service. UA Hub does not sell personal information for money, but Google AdSense processing for personalized advertising may constitute sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising under CCPA/CPRA; you can use browser controls, applicable consent controls, or Google Ads Settings to manage that choice. We do not discriminate against you for exercising an applicable privacy right.
